Vicky Tsai Style

Vicky Tsai lives in San Francisco, though chances are you have not seen her around town, she tends to shy from the camera, travels often to Japan and New York, and hangs out with geisha, beauty editors and chemists. Tsai’s style is unique and all about comfort, yet at the same time she is elegant and striking.  Tsai likes to wear kimonos and yukata over leggings and tank tops.

A Harvard Business School graduate, product developer and brand strategist, Tsai was lured to the Bay Area from New York by a startup in 2008. By 2009 she started her own beauty company, Tatcha.  Her first product, Aburatorigami, Japanese blotting paper, was a hit and gained a celebrity following.  By 2011, she had launched Tatcha’s skincare line, inspired by the beauty secrets of the geisha, and become a mother.
