Opening Night at the San Francisco Fall Show, Wanderlust: Around the World, with Art, Antiques, and Design, attracted some 2,000 stylish partygoers to Fort Mason on October 2, 2019.

Led by San Francisco Fall Show Chair Suzanne Tucker, the event followed its own tried and true 38-year formula. In brief, that started with gathering some of the top fine art and antique dealers from around the world. They descended upon San Francisco armed with an extraordinary range of decorative arts, enough to fill the Festival Pavilion. Subsequently, everything was arranged in visually appealing vignettes and showroom style settings readied for shoppers and viewers.

Meanwhile, Tucker galvanized the local interior design community, filled a legion of host committee roles, and designated an honorary chair. This year, lifestyle influencer India Hicks served in the honorary role. Altogether, they attracted an interesting mix of local collectors and an expanded crowd of design enthusiasts.

The party itself exceeded expectations, with a sumptuous cocktail buffet, decadent wines, champagne, and caviar. Importantly, it was not just an evening of high style, the event also served as a benefit for Enterprise for Youth.
