Red Carpet Bay Area Highlights, April 2014 – June 2014:

In April, we covered the Red Cross Ball, met the new San Francisco Conservatory of Music President David H. Stull, checked out the latest in red carpet attire at SFMOMA’s Modern Ball, watched a cabaret at POPera! and put on our cowboy boots for ZooFest.

In May, we met Dyana Nyad at San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center’s annual Blue Ribbon Luncheon, peaked inside a mansion at San Francisco Decorator Showcase, headed down to the Peninsula for Parca’s poolside lunch and fashion show, watched young and talented ballerinas onstage at San Francisco Ballet’s Student Showcase, and celebrated 33 years of support for San Francisco’s neediest residents from the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation.

San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center’s keynote Diana Nyad attempted the 110-mile swim from Cuba to Florida four times in 35 years; she made it on her fifth try at age 64 (Nyad photographed for ESPN after her derailed second attempt)
