Success: You Wear it Well was the theme for the Dress for Success annual gala on June 19, 2014, but the purpose of the evening extended beyond fashion. “Our goal is to transform women’s lives by providing them with the tools and resources they need to be self-sufficient, ranging from interview attire to career resources and financial literacy training,” said Renée Surcouf, executive director of Dress for Success in San Francisco.

Jeannie Mai, co-host of upcoming nationally syndicated daytime talk show “The Real,” shared her enthusiasm for Dress for Success and provided insights about her unique style, and KRON4’s Vicki Liviakis served as mistress of ceremonies. The event included cocktails, dinner and a runway fashion show sponsored by Banana Republic. Nearly $300,000 was raised to help thousands of local women with the resources and support they need to advance in the workplace.
