Red Carpet Bay Area could not help but notice Deepa Pakianathan’s high style in 2009. We caught up with Pakianathan and found out she is a mother of two boys, a Ph.D. with a background in banking and biotech and a partner in a venture capital firm. When it comes to fashion, Deepa said she likes to push the envelope and wear the unexpected.
We asked for some specifics:
Who are some of your current favorite fashion designers? Donna Karan, Pamela Roland and Zang Toi
Your skin looks practically flawless; what is your beauty regime? Oil of Olay moisturizer and sunscreen with a little bit of Yves Saint Laurent makeup on top
What will you wear this summer? brightly colored short dresses, or colorful skirts with white shirts, and add a jacket or shrug for the office
Fragrance preference: Stella McCartney for the summer
Accessories: makes most of her own jewelry, and likes unique, vintage belts, some of which she has made into bracelets
Shoes: flat sandals or towering platform heels, depends on the occasion
