ArtPoint celebrated Picasso and Bastille Day after hours at the de Young Museum in San Francisco on July 14, 2011. Curator Tim Burgard led tours of the exhibition, Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musee National, Paris and DJ Solomon kept the dance floor packed all night long. The popular ArtPoint Bastille Day event attracted some 800 revelers and was chaired for the second consecutive year by Patricia Dassios.
ArtPoint is a young professionals’ organization dedicated to promoting the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, including the de Young and the Legion of Honor. The group hosts social and educational events throughout the year including behind-the-scenes tours and special receptions.
