This Old Bag: The Power of the Purse preview hosted by Caldwell Snyder Gallery in San Francisco

In anticipation of This Old Bag: The Power of the Purse, a benefit handbag auction for Breast Cancer Emergency Fund on October 18, 2013, the event committee and early supporters attended a preview at Caldwell Snyder Gallery in San Francisco. On display — the handbag Oprah Winfrey donated for the event! One-of-a-kind designs are in progress and top-name labels are accumulating for the annual fundraiser that has provided more than $1 million in assistance for local low-income women battling breast cancer.

One hundred percent of all auction sales go directly to women who are too sick to work. This Old Bag: The Power of the Purse accepts donations of mint-condition designer and vintage handbags, colorful and unique bags, men’s purses, sports bags, computer bags and celebrity handbags.
