NovoEd, is an online learning platform where students not only have access to lectures by thought leaders and professors from top universities, but they are also able to form teams with people around the world for work on class projects and business opportunities. Anyone with an internet connection can participate! Learning opportunities are available at a massive scale, fostering online collaboration, team work and project-based lessons.
On July 8, 2013, one of the very first Spanish speaking, free, massive open online course (MOOC) will begin. The 5-week course, Evaluacion de Decisiones Estrategicas, or Evaluating Strategic Decisions, taught by renowned Stanford PhD, Catholic University of Chile professor and strategic decision expert Patricio del Sol, is offered solely in Spanish. Students will learn key principles for making strategic choices in the business landscape. Del Sol, who has more than 245,000 followers on Twitter @PatricioDelSol says he wanted to find a way to teach the key principles so popular in Silicon Valley, to promote entrepreneurship among Spanish speakers.
