Hundreds of men and women donned their finest for a Night on the Nile themed Opera Ball and opening night performance of Verdi’s Aida, on September 10, 2010. Opera Ball Co-chairs Charlot Malin and Mary Poland made sure City Hall was fit for a pharoah, complete with palm trees, hieroglyphics, exotic gods and lots of gold; watch the video as seen on Red Carpet Bay Area, TV36:
