Eight monumentally scaled sculptures by Mark di Suvero rose at Crissy Field for a free yearlong exhibition, and Schools of the Sacred Heart San Francisco received a special di Suvero piece of its own.  The artist and his sister, Marie Louise di Suvero Martignoni, attended Convent & Stuart Hall in the 1940s. Marie Louise donated Dragoncoil, a digital pigment print of her brother’s to the school on a recent visit — her first since 1952. Read more

Red Carpet Bay Area reported a smaller in scale Mark di Suvero sculpture, 32 x 21 x 24 inches, Untitled, 2009, sold for $80,000 at SFMOMA’s Art Auction 2013. Read more
