Maria Pinto and San Francisco

M2057 by Maria Pinto, Spring 2016

Thank you to everyone who came out to meet Chicago-based fashion designer Maria Pinto in San Francisco. Together we welcomed and supported a talented woman who not only dresses the First Lady, but also had a bright idea to launch her company via Kickstarter. Maria and her team opened a pop-up shop for just one week in February on Market Street. The clothes and accessories were a hit with the Red Carpet Bay Area crowd. Don’t worry if you missed it, everything is available here on her website.

Inspired by urban architecture and design, M2057 fashions embody Maria’s clean and minimalist aesthetic. “M2057 has a very architectural energy,” Maria says. “It’s where the industrial meets the elegant.” The label marries superior design quality—sculptural lines, luxe-feeling Italian fabrics—with ease and versatility—most of the pieces are machine washable and very travel friendly. The clothes are designed to fit a wide range of body types and sizes, and can be styled a number of ways to transition seamlessly from casual to formal events.

Photos don’t always do justice to fabulous design, fabrics, and fit. Maria Pinto’s first permanent M2057 Style Studio is open at 833 W. Washington Boulevard in Chicago.
