Children of Shelters raised $285,000 at its 13th annual Jingle and Mingle event, chaired by Shonaree Michael, Stephanie Plexico, Jenny Stegall and Andrea Zola, on December 4, 2014, at the Golden Gate Club in The Presidio. Some 31 wreaths created by local designers and 14 pieces of art curated by Stephanie Breitbard Fine Arts added to the auction mix. A framed photograph by Danielle Mourning received the top bid of $3,200 from Leith Barry. Tops in the wreath category, a design by Jim Misner for Tineke Triggs’Artistic Designs for Living garnered $1,000. Some 400 supporters attended the event that benefited Bay Area shelters including Compass Family Services, Hamilton Family Center, Rafael House, Star Family Home and St. Joseph’s Family Center.
