The 49ers Academy Cocktails and Couture event delivered the ultimate girls night out — a fashion show, chocolate, wine, shopping — and lots of players! Bay Area sports legends with their families and hundreds of supporters gathered at the Hillsborough estate of Kathie and John Milligan on September 9, 2015. Watch the video:
“Funding for equality in education is more important now than ever, as the skyrocketing cost of living in the Bay Area has a direct impact on our students. We provide not only a safe haven from the wear and tear of poverty and a multitude of educational programs, but also meals, school supplies, after-school homework help, mentoring, and a library,” said Bella Babot, San Francisco 49ers Academy Vice Board Chair and Cocktails and Couture Event Chair. “For the attendees tonight, it is a fun and frivolous girls night out, but the funds we raise are a lifeline for our students.”
