The new Chanel boutique is a 7,900 square foot, three-story building by architect Peter Marino. Shoppers will find Chanel ready-to-wear, accessories such as costume jewelry, small leather goods, and handbags, fragrance, makeup, and skincare. In keeping with the brand identity, the palate is clean with custom, hand-plastered walls, and Cabuca stone floors. The entrances to the boutique are on Maiden Lane or Geary Street. From either side the centerpiece and wow-factor is visible, a 25-foot display wall of black metal and glass.
