San Francisco Opera celebrated the opening of its 92nd season on September 5, 2014, with Opera Ball: Passione, and for the younger crowd, a BRAVO! CLUB Gala. Some 300 BRAVO! members gathered on the balcony of the War Memorial Opera House for a private cocktail reception before the opening night performance of Bellini’s masterpiece Norma. Post-performance, BRAVO! Gala Co-chairs Benjamin Osgood and Hadley Wilson, arranged a dance party at Jardinière, just a red-carpet walk down the block.
San Francisco Opera’s BRAVO! CLUB is a group of young adults dedicated to building a new audience for San Francisco Opera. Founded in 1991, BRAVO! CLUB includes some 500 Bay Area professionals and hosts a variety of educational and performance-related events in support of San Francisco Opera.
