Birds of a Feather San Francisco Zoological Society Auxiliary’s third annual benefit and luncheon for the Zoo‘s new Koret-Taube South American Tropical Rainforest and Aviary Building, on October 15, 2014. Some 150 Bay Area women donned hats inspired by exotic birds and joined the luncheon crowd at Neiman Marcus’s Rotunda restaurant.
SF Zoo’s VIP chicks and ganders flocked together at tables including Vice President of Philanthropy Tim Wu, Auxiliary President Charley Zeches, Event Chair Lori Shigekane, past Birds of a Feather event chairs Daru Kawalkowski, Tanya Powell, Mindy Henderson and Laurie Grayson. Missing from the nest this year was the founder of the event, Pamela Joyner.
