While designers showed spring 2014 collections during New York Fashion Week, the Bay Area experienced a fashion week of its own. Red carpet style fashion week in San Francisco kicked off on September 3, 2013, with the Symphony opening gala. The fanciness continued on Wednesday with a Red Carpet Bay Area invitation-only brunch and viewing of the Vera Wang spring 2014 collection at the flagship store on Union Square. On Friday, San Francisco Opera Ball took place in a Garden of Good and Evil. On Saturday, we finally let our hair down at Party for the Parks in Golden Gate Park.
If you are not from here, forget what you thought about San Francisco style. It is rarely as comfort-loving as Berkeley. This is a gown town. Keep checking in, Red Carpet Bay Area is covering all of the above mentioned red carpet fashion week events.
