Saint Francis Foundation partnered with Wine, Women & Shoes for an afternoon of fashion, wine tasting, and high tea at the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco on May 7, 2017. The event served as a benefit for Tenderloin Health Improvement Partnership, an initiative that aligns resources from over 80 social services agencies working for improved health and well-being in the Tenderloin.
One of the highlights included a runway show of designs by Karen Caldwell and Vasily Vein, two Bay Area-based fashion designers who focus on red carpet style. To help raise funds, Vasily Vein donated a custom transformer dress, one that changes from a full-length ballgown to a short cocktail dress, as part of the live auction. In keeping with the shoe theme, wardrobe stylist Tiffany Wojciak perused the room and awarded “Best in Shoe” to guest Maggie Shiels.
