The Fur Ball presented by Zoo II, a social club made up of young professionals who support San Francisco Zoo, attracted some 400 supporters to the Zoo’s Great Hall on October 2, 2010. Guests were greeted by animals from the Zoo’s Animal Rescue Center, including an alligator, armadillo, ball python, ferret and peregrine falcon. The annual fundraiser and signature event included carousel rides, visits with the wildlife, dining and dancing. VIPs were treated to a private peek behind-the-scenes in the Lion House.
