Susan G. Komen Visionary Awards 2019
Susan G. Komen, the largest breast cancer organization in the world, recognized seven Bay Area individuals with Visionary Awards at a celebratory luncheon on February 22nd. Event chair Sharon Seto welcomed some 300 supporters to the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco for the event, which also served as a fundraiser for Komen’s Treatment Assistance Program.

Three honorees were recognized for important advancements in the fight against breast cancer and education focused on breast cancer:
Dr. Melinda Telli of Stanford University School of Medicine
Dr. Eileen T. Consorti of Alta Bates Summit Medical Center
Dr. Pamela Munster of the University of California, San Francisco and Genentech, Inc.
Three honorees recognized for their generosity and contributions to breast cancer and education programs:
Anette Harris
Patrick Barber of Compass
Mario Diaz of Wells Fargo Bank
Vicki Kahn received the Pam Judd Award for her volunteerism with Susan G. Komen San Francisco Bay Area
