Red Carpet Bay Area Editor Receives Emmy Nod

Red Carpet Bay Area editor Joanna Hidalgo received an Emmy® for outstanding craft achievement in a non-news program, for La Divina Callas, a segment from Red Carpet Bay Area’s seventh episode broadcast on KRON4, November 7, 2010.

The 40th Annual Northern California Area Emmy® Awards were presented on June 11, 2011, at the Regency Center in San Francisco. The Emmy® Award honors excellence in all fields of television production. San Francisco/Northern California is one of the twenty chapters awarding regional Emmys®. Northern California is composed of television and cable stations from Visalia to the Oregon border and includes Hawaii and Reno, Nevada. 703 entries were received in 59 categories, 220 were nominated and 85 receive the Emmy® statuette.
