The Honorable Madeleine K. Albright spoke, supported her daughter Katie Albright, and raised over $20,000 in an on-the-spot live auction. Ashley Judd shared stories of her childhood, not happy fairytales, rather tales of neglect and abuse. Maria Eitz, the founder of Respite Care, received the Dr. Moses Grossman Award. It all happened at San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center’s 15th Annual Blue Ribbon Luncheon. The sold-out event on April 17, 2012, raised over $375,000. All proceeds help San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center continue its vital work supporting families, educating the community, and building strategic partnerships to keep kids safe in the Bay Area.
