The Happiest Baby on the Block author and nationally-renowned pediatrician Dr. Harvey Karp served as the keynote speaker at San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center’s 14th Annual Blue Ribbon Luncheon on April 7, 2011. The event raised some $315,000 to ensure the continuation of San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center’s vital work: preventing child abuse and neglect, promoting healthy families, providing mental healthcare and public advocacy for children.
Honoree Dr. Moses Grossman founded the Child Abuse Council and TALK Line in 1973. In 1998, San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center, the Child Abuse Council and TALK Line Family Support Center merged as partners for families and children.
