Olympic gold medalist and two time world champion figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi founded the Always Dream Foundation (ADF) to help underserved children by teaching them to read and inspiring them to dream big. In 2012, Always Dream Foundation launched “Always Reading,” an early childhood literacy program that now serves 17 schools and over 1,600 students in California, Arizona and Hawaii.

Once Upon a Time was the theme for ADF’s annual gala, on September 19, 2015, at the historic Palace Hotel in downtown San Francisco. Co-chaired by Judy Davies, Jennifer Lee and Nadyne Orona, the event attracted some 250 supporters including Bay Area sports legends and community leaders.
