San Francisco Zoo Auxiliary hosted an inaugural Birds of a Feather benefit luncheon for its Koret-Taube Aviary and South American Tropical Rainforest capital campaign at The Rotunda restaurant on October 22, 2012. Red Carpet Bay Area spotted several impressive hats on guests and it inspired us to search for trends in headpieces for next season.
Some of our favorite styles: reinvented berets, fascinators, pillboxes and veiled hats. All types appropriate for city lunches, an elegant day in the vineyards, cocktail soirees, garden parties and summer weddings. Where to buy? One of the best sources we found online is LoveHats.com. Also, support local designers and merchants and shop at Goorin Bros, Deanna Gibbons and Hats on Post.
