Guests wore green, sustainable or vintage attire to the Big Bang Opening Gala for California Academy of Sciences new Renzo Piano designed building in Golden Gate Park, in October 2008. Some 500 supporters toured the museum’s building and exhibitions and were served an elegant dinner near the glass-enclosed rain forest. Later, 300 more supporters arrived for a performance by Elvis Costello at the after-party, Big Bang After Dark.
