San Francisco Ballet Opening Night Gala: SPELLBOUND

The lineup of opening night festivities, chaired by Patricia Roberts:

5 pm: San Francisco City Hall, a cocktail reception and black-tie fundraising dinner

7 pm: War Memorial Opera House, all opening night ticket holders are invited to a champagne stroll sponsored by Scharffenberger Cellars

8 pm: War Memorial Opera House, the one-night-only gala performance of SPELLBOUND will feature twelve pieces, including three world premieres

10 pm: After Party at City Hall with live music by Pop Rocks, students from San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and DJ Chris Clouse, dancing, and an open bar

The evening marks the first opening night gala for SF Ballet’s new Executive Director Kelly Tweeddale. SPELLBOUND is the theme for San Francisco Ballet’s 2020 season.

The opening night gala raises funds to benefit a wide range of SF Ballet artistic initiatives, including new works, scholarships for San Francisco Ballet School students, and community education programs for thousands of youth, families, and seniors.
