Boucheron Celebrates 150 Years

In Paris, Boucheron CEO Jean-Christophe Bédos hosted 148 guests including Naomi Campbell and Julianne Moore at the Petit Palais to celebrate the bauble house’s 150th birthday. On October 8, 2008, in San Francisco, Mr. Bédos celebrated the milestone with 150 locals. Public relations professional Allison Speer helped arrange a black-tie dinner and table-side serenade from Samuel Ramey at the War Memorial Opera House, for the occasion. Both events featured a rare peek at Boucheron’s “Collections Particulières, Paris.” Boucheron, one of Paris’s original Place Vendôme jewelers, offers pieces inspired by nature, youth and prestige, a recipe Mr. Bédos said he will bank on for success over the next 150 or so years.
