Hair powder, a useful styling product that dates back to the 18th century, can revive and refresh precious locks and keep you on time for your next appointment.
Hair powder comes in two basic formulas: spray and loose powder. Both work for absorbing oil, adding volume and freshening. A little goes a long way, so I recommend starting slow and building. Hair powders come in a variety of colors, but personally, the color with which I’ve had the best luck is the original white. The consistency is fine and silky, and it leaves no powdery evidence as long as you work it through your hair with a bit of vigor! So go ahead and skip a shampoo once in awhile — I won’t tell!
