The 25th annual Red Cross Gala celebrated 130 years of service to the Bay Area community. Time and again, particularly this past year, families turned to the Red Cross for shelter, food, comfort, and hope. The event has provided more than $11 million in funds to sustain those vital lifesaving programs and services locally. The American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter serves over 4.8 million people across six counties: Marin, Solano, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Alameda County. Some 300 supporters attended the red tie gala at San Francisco City Hall on March 23rd.
