Party for the Parks at Anglers Lodge

The Party for the Parks crew drew some 400 supporters of San Francisco Parks Alliance to their the sixth annual event on September 21, 2012. This year, the party was at Anglers Lodge and Casting Pools, a hidden gem in Golden Gate Park. Guests watched casting demonstrations participated in lessons, and dined and danced in the camp-like setting.

Philanthropists and park advocates Lana Adair, Connie Goodyear Barron, Nancy Connor and Christine Gardner, are just a few of the stewards for the annual event held at unique park locations around the the city. Past party settings include Coit Tower, the Conservatory of Flowers, the Japanese Tea Garden, the Golden Gate Park Carousel and Children’s Playground and on the Marina Green.
