Kim Winston, Senior Manager, Government Affairs for Starbucks will be honored with a Corporate Award at the 16th Annual Madame C.J. Walker Business and Community Awards Luncheon

Red Carpet Bay Area is pleased to sponsor the National Coalition of 100 Black Women’s 16th Annual Madame C.J. Walker Business and Community Recognition Awards Luncheon on March 16, 2014.  The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Oakland/Bay Area Chapter, provides programs and grants aimed at increasing the participation of African-American women in the community and in business. The event commemorates Madame C.J. Walker, the first female African American, self-made millionaire and business leader, and celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit that is deeply rooted in the African-American culture.

Some 1,200 supporters are expected at the luncheon, which will take place at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco; click here for tickets. Four women will be honored; in addition, the winner of the 2014 Madame C.J. Walker Positive Steps youth essay contest.
