Maharaja Gala at the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco
In my opinion, the best-dressed gala in San Francisco, 2011, was the Asian Art Museum opening night party for the exhibition, Maharaja: The Splendor of India’s Royal Court, on October 19. Event chairs Pamela Joyner, Kumar Malavalli and Tatiana Sorrorko lured some 650 guests at $2,500 per seat to the black-tie dinner and exhibition preview. Not only the guests showed up in beautiful gowns, but also 12 models strolled in stunning creations from fashion designer Naeem Khan‘s latest collection.
