Mad Men at Gorgeous & Green — In case you haven’t seen it, Mad Men is an Emmy and Golden Globe award winning drama series on AMC, in its fourth season. Set in 1960s New York, Mad Men follows the lives of the ruthlessly competitive men and women of the Madison Avenue advertising world. The fashions by costume designerJane Bryant have inspired legions of fans. Among them, Zem Joaquin and Nadine Weil, co-chairs and founders of Gorgeous & Green, an annual benefit event in San Francisco for Global Green USA. Actress Alison Brie from the cast of Mad Men hosted the 6th annual Gorgeous & Green at the W Hotel on December 13, 2010. As part of the event, Clarissa Nicosia and Lily Achatz produced a Mad Men-inspired fashion show and photo shoot using eco-friendly and vintage clothing and accessories.
