Wender Weis Foundation for Children gathered more than 500 children, 1,500 sponsors, Bay Area sports stars and A-list performers at AT&T Park for its eighth annual Holiday Heroes fundraiser on December 5, 2017.

San Francisco Giants Legend and Home Run King Barry Bonds received the fifth annual Inspiration Award for his positive impact on Bay Area children’s charities. San Francisco 49er players and alums Joe Staley, Solomon Thomas, Dennis Brown, and Eric Heitmann, Warriors alum Adonal Foyle, and San Jose Earthquakes Chris Wondolowski and Khari Stephenson were all on hand to sign autographs, decorate cookies, stuff teddy bears, and have fun with the children and their families.

Performances included Michael Franti in an acoustic solo set, cast members from Disney’s Aladdin, and Broadway actress Jenn Gambastese from School of Rock.
