The seventh annual Discarded to Divine Gala presented by St. Vincent de Paul Society, San Francisco, attracted more than 500 fashion-minded artists, designers and supporters to the San Francisco Design Center Galleria for a fashion show and auction on April 26, 2012. Enthusiastic bidders prevailed for the 120 one-of-a-kind clothing, accessories and home decor items made from discarded garments by local fashion designers and students.
The funds raised benefit St. Vincent de Paul, San Francisco‘s programs that serve people working to overcome poverty, homelessness, addiction and domestic violence.
