American Women at The Met Gala 2010

The theme for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala is inspired by the exhibition, American Women: Fashioning a National Identity, on display through August 15, 2010. Curated by Andrew Bolton and Harold Koda with production designer Nathan Crowley, the exhibition takes a close look at the influence of American women from 1890-1940. Costume Institute Gala Benefit hosts: Oprah Winfrey, Patrick Robinson of the Gap, and Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue.
