Pamela Joyner and Fred Giuffrida hosted a masked ball for some 200 friends and philanthropists at their Presidio Terrace home in San Francisco on October 25, 2008. The event marked the second masked ball given to spread the word about the Making Waves Education Program and honored its founder John Scully and his wife, Regina Scully. Making Waves brings rigorous academic preparation programs and tutoring to students from economically depressed communities in the Richmond and San Francisco, helping to make college acceptance, attendance, and graduation a reality.
