On the Shoulders of Women was the theme for the Stanford Medicine Women’s Health Lunch at Menlo Circus Club on January 29, 2015. Some 300 women gathered for lunch and conversation with Laura Roberts, MD, MA and Chair, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Roberts urged, “Aim to be awesome, not perfect.” She shared insights on happiness, stress, mental illness and suicide.
