San Francisco Performances 32nd Season Gala

Paul Taylor Dance Company was first presented in San Francisco by San Francisco Performances

Founded by Ruth A. Felt and a small group of dedicated music patrons in 1979, San Francisco Performances set out to make an important contribution to the growth and vitality of an already vibrant arts scene. Since then, San Francisco Performances has presented audiences up-close and personal experiences with hundreds of acclaimed and emerging artists in classical chamber music, solo recitals, contemporary dance and jazz. San Francisco Performances 32nd Season Gala on October 14, 2011, will launch another season under artistic director Ruth A. Felt.

The evening’s festivities will feature a performance by soprano Leah Crocetto with pianist Tamara Sanikidze. Rising star soprano Leah Crocetto is a third-year Adler fellow with the San Francisco Opera, a Merola Opera Program alumna most recently seen onstage in San Francisco Opera’s 89th season opening performance as Liu in Turandot. Tamara Sanikidze is a second-year Adler Fellow with the San Francisco Opera and alumna of the 2009 Merola Opera Program.
