Rooms That Rock 4 Chemo (RTR4C) is a nonprofit organization that transforms chemotherapy treatment rooms into uplifting environments. Founded by Nancy Ballard in 2011, RTR4C has converted some 150 rooms in 15 healthcare facilities impacting more than 800,000 patient visits per year.  RT4C mobilizes artists, interior designers and other volunteers to bring comfort through their surroundings to cancer patients and their families who spend hours a day in chemotherapy treatment rooms. Most recently, working with the San Francisco Giants Organization and Matt Cain to convert a Giants-themed room at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco.

On November 1, 2014, RTR4C will host its inaugural fundraising gala with musical performances, dining, dancing and a fashion show by Vasily Vein, at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco.  Red Carpet Bay Area will serve as a media sponsor; click here for event tickets and additional information. On September 10, the Jimmy Choo store in Union Square hosted a reception for RTR4C supporters, bringing attention to the cause and the upcoming gala.
