The Junior Committee of the Fine Arts Museums presented its sixth annual Mid-Winter Gala at the de Young Museum on March 14, 2009. Some 500 fashionably dressed attendees dined and then danced the night away to Wonderbread Five. Co-chairs Kathryn Lasater and Allison Speer handpicked the guest list, made up of those they described as “ … the next generation of prominent young couples and individuals of San Francisco and the Bay Area who have an interest in the arts.”
The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, comprised of the de Young in Golden Gate Park and the Legion of Honor in Lincoln Park, is the largest public arts institution in the City.
