Four questions for Leah:
What are some of your favorite things about this year’s Home Tour? The incredible homes on the tour; our generous sponsors, especially Kelly-Moore Paints; the talented colorist, home makeover artist and TV personality Shannon Kaye, who will present at our VIP house on Saturday; and PopRocks, the band that will play at our Preview Party on Friday night.
Do you work for a living? Yes, in technology sales.
How do you find time to volunteer? When I am passionate about the volunteer work I find the time. I love the Home Tour event and I am so appreciative of the training I receive through the Junior League. My involvement has brought many opportunities for personal growth, and giving back to the community is gratifying. I have met some amazing women who I can tell are my life-long friends. It is easier to find the time to volunteer when you love the cause and the people!

Preview Gala on October 17:
5:30 pm – 8:30 pm Check-in at the San Francisco Film Centre, 37 Mesa Street in the Presidio; luxury vehicles will be available to transport guests to each of the homes on tour
7:00 pm Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the San Francisco Film Centre in the Presidio
9:00 pm – midnight Dancing to the Pop Rocks at San Francisco Film Centre in the Presidio
Home Tour on October 18:
9:00 am – 4:00 pm VIP ticket holders check in at the corner of Baker and Jefferson Streets, access to all six homes, along with refreshments and entertainment all day at the VIP house
10:00 am – 4:00 pm Check in at the corner of Baker and Jefferson Streets for general admission tour of five private homes in the Marina District
