Hats off to Willie for Museum of the African Diaspora

MoAD is located at 685 Mission Street in San Francisco

Diaspora: the breakup and scattering of people. Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) in San Francisco draws from museums, universities and private citizens to connect all people though the art, culture and history of the African Diaspora. MoAD opened in 2005, in the last vacant parcel of Yuerba Buena Gardens, thanks to a mandate from then Mayor Willie L. Brown. Visiting hours and information: www.moadsf.org.
