For the fourth consecutive year, some 400 corporate, philanthropic and community leaders and supporters gathered at the Y For Youth Luncheon: Fire Up the StartUps to support YMCA of San Francisco’s programs that serve more than 10,000 youth in San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties every day. From preschool and overnight camps to ballet and swimming lessons, the YMCA of San Francisco supports the community’s future leaders with hundreds of programs across the Bay Area.

Proceeds from the event — over $600,000 this year — will help ensure that all youth have the opportunity to become successful, healthy, confident adults, regardless of age, ability or income.“We’re committed to empowering the youth of the Bay Area to become our future leaders,” said Chuck Collins, President and CEO of the YMCA of San Francisco. “With your support, we can help the youth of the Bay Area reach their full potential – and become the next big thing.” The fourth annual event was co-chaired by Carol Berg and Julie Harkins, and held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on March 20, 2015.
