The House of Dior in San Francisco is a boutique on Union Square where you can find John Galliano's jewels (his term for Dior evening gowns), handbags, scarves, sunglasses, blouses, skirts, coats and dresses and more for Dior. Mr. Galliano follows Gianfranco Ferre who took the reins from Mark Bohan who succeeded Yves Saint Laurent to rule the couture house that Christian Dior established in Paris, 1947. Ten years filled with tremendous success later, in 1957, Mr. Dior suddenly passed. His jewels have lived on and graced the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Princess Diana, and some San Francisco women.
