Michael Tilson Thomas opened San Francisco Symphony’s 97th season with a spectacular concert featuring pianist Yefin Bronfman on September 4, 2008. The performance included Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor and Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. The audience also wowed — in red carpet style!
