Raphael House Family Festival

Raphael House Family Festival: Gobble & Give, a family celebration on a gorgeous day in Golden Gate Park, also served as a fundraiser for Bay Area families in need. Funds raised help Raphael House provide tools for homeless families as they work to achieve stable housing and financial independence. A safe shelter, personalized case management, career development tools and tutoring are just a few of the services Raphael House provides to hundreds of families each year.

Event co-chairs Genevieve Weeks and Vanessa Welstead, along with their committee, invited Bay Area families for a fun day at the park. Entertainment included magician Robert Strong and musician Belle Borovik, a jazz ensemble from Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, a visit from Clo the Cow, and the opportunity to explore a SFFD Fire Engine. Together they raised over $52,000, a record for the event.
