The inaugural Pour for a Cure: Taste Wine, Fight Lupus event presented by the Sharon and David Seto Family raised over $95,000, on September 9, 2017.
Hosts Helene and Larry Edelman welcomed some 200 supporters for lunch and an afternoon of cocktails, wine and beer tasting at their ranch in Santa Rosa, California. Pours flowed from Elixir Partners, including the Boisset Collection, Far Niente Winery, Holy Craft Brewing Co., Fleury Estate Winery, Greyscale Wines, Localism, Novela, Toboni Vineyards, and ZD Wines, just to name a few.
Funds raised benefit the Lupus Foundation of Northern California and the Lupus Research Alliance. Lupus, a cruel, painful and devastating disease, affects 1.5 million Americans. More than 16,000 new cases of lupus are reported annually across the country.
