One of the wettest and wackiest parties in San Francisco, Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation’s 22nd Annual Celebrity Pool Toss, was held at the Phoenix Hotel/Chambers Eat + Drink on October 8, 2014.  Some 500 supporters raised $270,000 and gathered to watch local business leaders and celebrities get tossed in the pool to benefit kids and families in the Tenderloin.

Over the past 22 years, the annual TNDC Celebrity Pool Toss has raised nearly $4 million for Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation’s  youth and family programs like the Tenderloin After-School Program that serves more than 3,000 of the lowest-income individuals in San Francisco’s Tenderloin and nearby neighborhoods.

Past TNDC Celebrity Pool Toss participants include Robin Williams, MC Hammer, Don Johnson, Cheech Marin, Warren Hellman, Betsey Johnson, Bob Weir, Kristi Yamaguchi, Jonny Moseley, Willie Brown, Gavin Newsom and Lou Seal.
